About the Game
There are thousands of stories throughout generations, stories of sightings, sounds, prints, and even close encounters; and yet the explanation behind all of these remains clouded in mystery…Bigfoot. In Bigfoot the board game, players take the role of explorers with one mission, to track down Bigfoot and prove their existence once and for all.
Bigfoot is a 1-6 player game that takes 45-90 minutes to play and is recommended for ages 14 and up.
In the game players will travel around from one location to another in search of Bigfoot activity. Once a player finds a location that has had Bigfoot activity they will then be able to scout the area for prints/evidence. There are a number of items and equipment available at the Country Store in town that players may purchase to assist them in their hunt. The forest is full of unexpected surprises so players need to be thoughtful when gearing up before heading out. Maybe you’ll want to bring some ammunition in case of and animal attack or maybe a compass to keep from getting lost. Of course the objective of the game is to be the first to find Bigfoot, so why not throw caution to the wind and spend all your money on a call blaster and some apples to lure Bigfoot in. The choice is your’s.
Each player will have to manage their own condition as they explore. As your condition deteriorates, scouting for evidence/prints will become increasingly more difficult. As players discover more evidence they will be able to decipher the location cards around the map. Each card will eliminate one symbol from your hunt. Once you have eliminated all but three you’ll be able to match the remaining symbols with one of the locations on the map. Find the location that matches and find Bigfoot! But beware the forest can be a dangerous place…
About the Company
As of now Flying Guy Games is a one man show. Of course no one can make it alone. I’m blessed to have an amazing family that has helped and encouraged me all along the way as well as good friends. They’ve been my play testers since the start and have believed in me the whole way, even when the game was in its roughest stages.
Flying Guy Games came into existence after a funny yet divinely inspirational experience of mine. In my past job as a distributer I came across a seemingly homeless man who had his arms spread wide and was swaying from to side to side like an airplane while walking, even making airplane noises. I was left to believe that he truly thought he was flying though he was clearly impaired. At my next delivery stop across town my coworker and I laughed at the idea that this man would literally fly across town and land in front of us. While in poor taste, the joke was on us as I came out of that store to find that very man walking down the sidewalk in front of me, arms spread and making airplane noises.
Moral of the story people may laugh at your dreams or tell you its impossible, but when you allow The I Am to guide you your im-possible simply becomes possible.
